Preferences Popup:

  • This is shown based off a flag on the user record which is set to show by default for all users.
  • If the user selects "Don't show this again" it will set this flag so the popup is never seen again.
  • Review Notification Preferences button will go to profile notification area.

Profile > Notifications:

  • This is where the user can manage all their notification preferences.
  • SMS is only used for System Alerts. Emails can also be sent via System Alerts but all other notifications are only email based.
  • There are notification settings for each product a user is subscribed to. The product is selected with a dropdown.
  • On the product level a user can select to receive Expiring Subscription notifications.
  • Other notification settings are on an instance level and within each product there are settings for each instance the user has.
  • The other settings are enabled per workflow via the multiselect workflow dropdown. The selected settings in the checkboxes are applied only for the selected workflows. There is currently no way to target different combinations of settings for different workflows on the same instance.

Dashboard > Notifications:

  • This is an area on the dashboard where the user can view and edit their notification settings for an individual instance.
  • The settings are the same as on the profile notification area only the workflows are presented as checkboxes.
