1. The main staging area for reports downloaded is Concur Utility:

This will show a representation of each Batch from SAP Concur.  It’s where you’ll address issues like GL Account assignments that don’t exist, projects that are dormant, etc:

We’ll lookup batch 373 as an example, from September 1st:

When we bring this up, we see the number of transactions reported in Concur match the number of downloaded transactions. That’s the first step – do these numbers match?  If so, proceed, and if not, we’ve got to redownload the batch.
We do have some errors that need to be corrected:

When you click on the Message column in the transactions grid on an entry with an error, you’ll see the problem – there is no account 9999 in your chart of accounts:

You’ll click on the link to the individual transaction in the Entry Record column:

This takes you to Concur Transactions, the detailed line items in the batch that make up each expense report.  You would change this value to a value GL account (and eventually, fix Concur to bring the right GL accounts in to begin with):

We went ahead and chose some random GL accounts to use for this one as an example – and once done (on all three line items that were in error), we get a “ready to post message” once we click Populate Transaction Center again (to get the programming to recognize the corrections):
