Thank you for your interest in upgrading to Deltek Vantagepoint. Upgrading to Deltek Vantagepoint 2.0 will be made available to those firms that qualify. In order to help our hosted clients identify the right time to move, we have developed an extensive and detailed questionnaire.

 

At this time, your firm may or may not qualify for the upgrade due to feature-sets or functionality that are not available yet. For your reference, here is a document outlining Vantagepoint Terminology in the questionnaire. We highly recommend reviewing it prior to starting the questionnaire. Also, please make sure your firm has identified internal resources that will manage each area of the upgrade and that those resources have taken steps to prepare your system for a better testing experience. The questionnaire will ask questions regarding these resources and confirm that preparation has been taken to reduce the number of upgrades. Please make sure your firm has reviewed our past webinars on preparing for Vantagepoint. https://www.fullsailpartners.com/preparing-for-deltek-vantagepoint-series. Since you are hosted, skip the “Is Your Firm Technically Prepared for Vantagepoint” webinar. In order to make the process efficient, we recommend you assign the appropriate internal resources to view those topics that apply. Be sure to visit each page for a list of topics. As a reminder, here is the timeline regarding requests and availability of test environments.

 

  • Vantagepoint 2.0 test environments requests can be made between: October 1st and December 20th 2019. *This is of course, dependent upon your firm meeting qualification requirements. 
  • Vantagepoint 2.0 environments will be made available through April 30th at which time we anticipate Vantagepoint 3.0 environments to be available. Therefore, please make sure your firm has the resources available to make the move to Vantagepoint 2.0 by that time since all 2.0 test environments will be upgraded six months after 3.0 becomes available. 
  • If your firm does go live on Vantagepoint 2.0 during this time, we will provide you a test environment to 3.0 to test the upgrade when it is made available from Deltek. Please plan on your 2.0 environment to be upgraded to 3.0 in May, August and November of 2020 (dependent on release of version 3.0). Clients on 2.0 must choose one of these upgrade timeframes so all systems are on 3.0 by the end of 2020.
