Background:  If Concur has not restricted entering characters that interfere with Windows filenames, you will receive a message indicating "Illegal Characters" when trying to view an image. 


Prerequistes - You must be running the latest local programming available at https://blackbox.visionconnector.com in order to use this solution.  
As of this article, that version is Concur Connector 1.9 CU11 For Vision 7.5-7.6 20180808




Step 1:  In Deltek, Browse to Configuration > Workflow > Scheduled Workflow

Step 2:  Select "Concur Batches" as the Application, and Insert a line with the following information: 



Step 3:  Insert a Stored Procedure action.


Step 4:  In the new Dialog box, enter "BB_ConcurImageCorrection" as the Stored Procedure name. 


Step 5:  In the @ExtractDefinition argument, click the ellipses (...) to bring up the Expression Window and select '[:UDIC_BBConcurBatch.CustExtractDefinitionID]' from the list of values, then click "Add Column".   Click Save, then click OK.



Step 6:  Give the Action a name, click Save, and then schedule the workflow to run once (NO RECURRENCE).  When it completes, you should be able to view images in Expense Reports in Deltek Vision. 


FAQ:  I am using a test system and have no process server to schedule jobs with. 

Answer:  Go to the Concur Batches InfoCenter, and using InfoCenter Designer, add a push button workflow that references the workflow you just created.  You will need to push the button on each batch that you've seen image issues with regard to their names having illegal characters.
