In Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint, browse to Configuration > Security > Roles (Vision) or Settings > Security > Roles (Vantagepoint)

Setup the following Role Permissions:

Add and Modify rights to the following Info Centers in the Genera or Overview Tab of the Role Record:  

  • Projects
  • Employees
  • Accounts
  • Vendors
  • Time & Expense > Expense Reports
  • Configuration > General > User Defined Components (Vision)
  • Settings > Screen Designer (Vantagepoint)
  • Configuration > Workflow
  • Configuration > Time and Expense and all Expense SubMenus
  • Transaction Center
  • Utilities > Change Company
  • Utilities > Change Period
  • Utilities > Process Server
  • Blackbox Menu and all sub-menus 
    • Concur Utility
    • Concur History
    • Concur Batches
    • Concur Expense Transactions
    • Concur Invoice Transactions
    • Blackbox Configuration
    • Concur List Items

Other areas to check:

  • Accounting Tab: Access to All Transaction Types, Reporting and Entry
  • General Tab > Administrator account type checkbox
  • iAccess Tab > full rights
  • Access Rights Tab > Lookup Dropdown – All Lookups
  • Access Rights Tab > Tabs Dropdown – All Tabs
  • Access Rights Tab > Companies > All Companies that will be using Concur (only for clients using MultiCompany features in Deltek)


Create a User for the service account by browsing to Configuration > Security > Users and assigning it to the role you created above.  
    NOTE:  Please be sure to assign an employee to this user that would have access to all employees expense reports.


NOTE:  If you use a Deltek multi-company database, you must enable the user's role to be able to access that company.
